"Malaysian Monarch" is the name of this daylily. .

It's a nice purple grape color with a lavender watermark & yellow eye

I raise daylilies - it's a hobby for me. Luckily we live on several acres, so there is room to have them. I've planted each & every one myself. That requires a lot of digging & sweat equity. ha ha

Daylilies are just so lovely to see in person. And as far as taking pictures is concerned they are very photogenic too. There are so many different colors and styles and patterns. Their looks are endless. Each one is better than the next.

Not difficult to raise - not like roses or some other perennials (plants that come back year after year). If you have a little land, you should try one or two to see how you like them.

They go nicely with other types of lilies (like stargazer lilies) and flowers. Great with Hostas and Irises.
