Thuis foto was taken at Sil's harbor at De Cocksdorp, Texel, Holland, very early in the morning. The harbor is only a remains of on old platform that was used when the little city was build. When the tide is right, you can still see the old foundations next to a more recent landing pier. I was lucky that after a while one of the ships took off to sea (Wadden sea)Time
Around six o'clock in the morning, September 20, 2017Lighting
When I came earlier I was a little bit disappointed because it was very cloudy. Patience paid off, since the clouds got open and presented this wonderful light which is also accentuated because of the ND filter I used.Equipment
Canon Eos 70D, tripod, ND filter.Inspiration
I had read that Sil's harbor was a nice place to make pictures if the tide was right. It was!Editing

Getting out early in the morning pays off and being patient as well. A steady tripod is essential as are ND filters. Be sure not to get cold!
