Behind The Lens

Location

Taken in downtown Portland, Oregon. Pearl District.

Time

Sunrise

Lighting

Camera is physically resting on the guard rail, to provide stability.

Equipment

No equipment. I always use only what I can carry in my front pocket, which is my camera phone. For this and most of my photos, a Google Pixel.

Inspiration

Out on my morning walk.

Editing

All editing is also done right on my phone. No computer. Adobe Lightroom and Snapseed

In my camera bag

My phone in my front pocket. Nothing else is allowed. Ever ????????

Feedback

By not using a tripod for stability, I am forced to use whatever is there, part of the scene at the time I shoot the photo. Therefore, I am always anchoring my phone against something; wall, guard rail, pole, ground, etc., in order to stabilize the shot. As a result, my photos have a unique perspective.
