I have to thank my fiancé for alerting me of this nugget’s existence. I am so happy to cross this off my photography bucket list. This little cutie is a Piebald deer. This unique lack of pigmentation is cause by a genetic defect, so no, she is not albino. This is super rare, as less than 1% of white-tailed deer have this defect. But she is super cute, curious, and special. Her mom very graciously allowed me to get close enough to capture these shots.
