I took my two young children on a week-long, completely unplanned, short cabin vacation on the North Shore of Lake Superior, just North of Duluth, MN, this past winter.
Campfires and smores, fantastic sun-rises and -sets, all of us bundled under so many layers that my youngest (2) was bouncing off of objects like a tiny, soft, little ping pong ball.
One lazy, especially chilly afternoon, I noticed that a tree near the small park we were playing at was losing unusually colorful, large, leaves. I tore out the heart for a different photo of my Littles, then tried playing with the relief against this decidedly cloudy sky.
