View from top of the ridge near Willow Lake on the Willow Heights Conservation Area Trail in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. This is a beautiful, relatively easy, family friendly trail that loops around Willow Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon. You will often spot moose on the trail or at the lake on this hike. We didn't see any this trip, but the first time I hiked it there was a moose and her calf drinking from the far side of the lake. I've hiked it twice now, once in the summer and this fall, can't wait to snowshoe up to the lake this winter. Lots of outdoor adventures to experience here in Utah.
