Rarely do I allow pictures to be taken of me or do selfies other than just for my own personal use. It's not very often that this occurs. However, this trip was special. It was my first attempt at night photography both through the telescope and bare lenses out in the middle of nowhere, where light is at a minimum and great pictures could be caught. Living in the city, sky-night photos are difficult to come by that are quality shots. So this was kind of a major ordeal.

My girlfriend Wendy and I took the trip up to Red Mountain on the Northern side of it, found an appropriate camping ground and pitched a tent for the night. I still want to take a spring trip up there to catch galactic center, or as close as I can to it. Got some amazing night shots on this trip. Coming up in July 2019 is a trip to Butte Montana. We'll be leaving on July 11-24, and taking two days up, two days back and all over Montana for some fantastic shots. Looking forward to this trip as we'll be visiting ringing rocks east of butte, and a whole lot of other places in between. Hoping to capture some great photos from Utah on up.
