In some children's worlds their are very few toys on-or with which to play. These three young monks improvised. They were playing on this blinding white pagoda in Mingun, Myanmar in the brilliant sun. My visual goal was to capture each in a different stride imbuing the image with color and energy. The boys, in their flying scarlet robes, provided scale against the white curves. This Buddhist temple is called Pahtodawgyi pagoda. Building began by King Bagyidaw in 1790 and was never completed.
