Behind The Lens

Location

We took this and a series of pictures in a little flat in Oslo, Norway.. Just found this perfect window with beautiful light.

Time

At 3pm

Lighting

Just used natural light on a really cloudy day.

Equipment

Sony A7riii and 24-70 F2.8. No flash or tripod.

Inspiration

I wanted to get the soft feel of a woman standing in the window, waiting for her love to come home. Meanwhile just thinking about them.

Editing

I used capture one for the raw processing and then photoshop for the black and white conversion and skin work and dodge and burn.

In my camera bag

I always have my 24-70 F2.8 my 55mm F1.8 and my 85mm F1,4. And i use my beloved Sony A7riii.

Feedback

Think about your lighting. Dont Rush it.. Make sure it sculpts the person in the way you want it to look. Turn the person until you see it becoming the shot you want it to be.
