Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Upper Antelope, AZ. Once a day at noon the light shines down into the Antelope. The tour is owned and operated by the native indians ( I think it's the Navajo tribe)

Time

You have to time the tour right to view the light shine at 12:00.

Lighting

The camera setting has to right to get the full effect. The tour guides are well knowledgeable on the settings for all major cameras and mobile devices.

Equipment

This was taken with my old Cannon Digital Rebel.

Inspiration

This is picture is special, because it looks like the gods are shining light down on us. It looks heavenly.

Editing

Raw image and maybe adjust the levels in Photoshop Elements.

In my camera bag

I have a bag with extra batteries and a zoom lens

Feedback

Timing is everything. I just happened to be in the right tour group and a great tour guide.
