The cover over the deck are clear tinted poly panels. great light diffusion.

Equipment

Tripod mounted Nikon Coolpix L24 captured what I needed perfectly. Portrait mode. Flash, maybe. Props are 3 Conn Cornets I own. Three different styles, holding a 1937 long cornet, 1965 Coprion (copper alloy) bell is on the grill, it looks red. Model 17a on deck.

Inspiration

I was wanting to promote my cornet playing service on Facebook. Headshots don’t say much and I’m quite informal, so that narrowed it down to something entirely different. Was thinking The Blues, Hot off the Grill or Hot Grilled Cornet???? Tunes... We’ve all seen some strange album covers, right! FB didn’t approve my pic, go figure.

In my camera bag

Travel light as possible. My trusty Nikon L24 Coolpix is in my mute bag. I’ve taken lots of band pics and then some with it. Digital is great.
