This photo was taken during my last workshop with my buddy "Manuel Martin" for the EYE-Photo Magazine and the EYE-Photo Club. We had a lot of fun and great participants. All the more it makes me happy that I also had a little time for a shot.

Location
In Switzerland / Swiss Alps at Lake „Seealpsee“Time
It was September and the time window where the milky was visible was only one and half hour between 11:30 and 01:00 at Night.Lighting
To capture this shot it was very important to schedule everything very exactly because I want to have the milky above the mountain „Säntis“ To capture this shot I had an exposure time of 25 sec. / f 2.8 / ISO 3200. Don’t use a longer exposure than 25-30 seconds because the stars will looks like stripes.Equipment
Pentax K1 / Laowa 12mm f2.8 / Rollei Rock Solid TripodInspiration
Because I have a workshop the day before I promised my students that we will do something very special at night. The weather condition was perfect to capture the milky above the Säntis. It was exactly how I imagined.Editing
Yes it is a single shot and I developed the Raw in Lightroom to bring the milky more visible. Additionally I did a little dodge & burn at the mountains. In my camera bag

Very important to plan a shot like this. I normally use the app „PhotoPills“ to schedule everything very exactly. Visit your spot before you take the shot and check it.
