Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from a small yet beautiful village in Kerala, India

Time

This was taken a few years back so I really don't actually recall the exact date or time. But I think it was a fine afternoon with a light shower.

Lighting

This photo was taken in normal daylight. I have not used any extra light settings. A good climate favored me while I took this photo.

Equipment

I used my Canon 1300-D, with a 18-55/75-300mm lens(Can't remember correctly)

Inspiration

This photo was taken in association with Onam, a annual harvest festival celebrated in India every year.(Onam-is an annual Hindu harvest festival celebrated in the Indian state of Kerala. A major annual event for Keralites, it is the official festival of the state and includes a spectrum of cultural events. Drawing from Hindu legends, Onam commemorates King Mahabali.)

Editing

Yes, I did some basic retouch to the image. Nothing much! Just brushed it up a lil bit using lightroom.

In my camera bag

As I'm not a professional photographer I don't own much equipment's with me. I usually carry around my 18-55,75-300 and 50mm lens all the time along with tripod, extra batteries and an extra memory stick

Feedback

Never try to copy or duplicate another persons photo. Instead try to get inspired from what others capture. If you love what you do then results will definitely come around.
