I went to Red Hook yesterday. Red Hook is a not so secret enclave in Brooklyn, NY that is a stunner. It's old, renovated and renovating housing. It's waterfront parks, great views of the harbor including the lower NYC skyline. The waterfront area of Red Hook is quietish, almost devoid of traffic on a Saturday afternoon, and even crazier, plenty of parking. I rented a bike and rode around with my cousin, who lives down here. This is the first shot I took on this visit to Red Hook.
