When a train pulls in to the station, it stops in a spot with a hanging sign that's just black and white diagonal stripes. The conductor is required to point at it, I suppose just to make sure he's paying attention. I didn't believe it, but there it is. I asked him about it and he said yes it was a rule, and was annoyed I captured him on camera. He asked me why I took his picture. I said because he looked great. I ddn't intend to insult him. That's not what street photography is about for me. He's just doing his job, and maybe it's not the best job, but it's his job and if he screws up people can get hurt. So thanks for doing your job.
