I created this wildlife oil painting after re-discovering it as a Color photo that I originally took in late July of 2016 at the Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. It was a bright, sunshiny day that was great for creating shadows to enhance the appearance of the subject. When you want to create a wildlife photograph in central Florida the Circle B Bar Reserve is the best place that I know of to do that. When you want to convert that wildlife photograph into an oil painting, Gimp is the best free digital editing program that I have found to do just that.
