This shot was a long exposure in order to get the arching of the engines.Equipment
I used a Canon 6D, a 14mm Rokinon lens and my tripod. It was a 145 second exposure.Inspiration
I saw shots like this from other rocket launches which I liked so I decided to challenge myself.Editing
I did a little post processing in Lightroom. Most of it was cropping and cleaning the noise out of the image.In my camera bag
I carry as little as possible in my bag. Most of the time I don't even carry a bag. If I know where I am going I crab my camera and the best lens I think will work..Feedback
The only advice I can give is plan. There is only one chance to shot this shot.
