Thick smoke from nearby forest fires is becoming the norm, rather than the exception in British Columbia during the month of August. Whiteswan Lake, in Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park, is a bird-nerd's paradise. This one was kind enough to pass by while I was admiring a smoky, misty sunrise.
