This photo was taken a few summers ago in Ludington, Michigan during a weekend camping trip.Time
This is during the evening summer sunset around 8 or 9 pm.Lighting
The lighting is mostly natural but I have edited this photo somewhat to add the darker tones to the water, and more color to enhance the lines and light leaks from the setting sun.Equipment
Nikon S1 no other added equipment.Inspiration
I was currently working on a photography album I believe my 7th or 8th album. Every year I try to develop an album of my current events or things I find interesting to photograph. Sunsets are a favorite of mine, and being on the camping trip I was on the beach and the beauty of the created nature deserved to be photographed. Every sunrise and sunset are unique portraits.Editing

The western lakeshore of the lower peninsula of Michigan offers spectacular sunset opportunities. Many lighthouses along the shoreline offer great foreground to the backdrops of the sun drifting below the waves.
