One day, Poseidon, filled with lust for Tyro, disguised himself as Enipeus and from their union was born Pelias and Neleus, twin boys. The Enipeas (Greek: Ενιπέας) is a river in central Greece, tributary of the Pineios. Its source is in the northern part of Phthiotis, near Domokos. It flows generally northwest, through Thessaly.
