I recently went on a road trip with my mother and we made a morning stop by this iconic waterfall on our way back home from Washington State. The Palouse Falls Park had just reopened after they closed it because a person had drowned swimming in the pool below the Falls. Then I read where another person fell from a ledge a couple days after we left. It was a horrible reminder to really use caution when going to these kind of places.
These Falls are so worth the drive to see, especially in the Spring when they flow heavier! And it is very safe if a person stays on the paths that are already proven solid!
