Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the San Antonio zoo. This is one of my favorite places to spend time because you never know what shots will be available.

Time

I'm not entirely sure what time of the day but probably fairly early as that is the time of the day when the animals are the most active. It gets fairly hot in August in Texas so afternoons are best for naps.

Lighting

Not really, just be aware of where others are standing to make sure they dont block your light or cast shadows across your subject.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikkon D3200 with a standard lense. I do not edit my photos in any way.

Inspiration

This bird was really interested in the camera and was being really insistent in being the center of attention.

Editing

No I like to leave photos as I capture them.

In my camera bag

I usually carry just my camera body and a couple of lenses. If I do carry multiple lenses I try to have a macro, standard, and a telescopic

Feedback

To just be patient. I normally take any where from five to a dozen shots to get one that I like enough to share.
