Location
This car is located in Bodie State Park, California.Time
I had been walking around Bodie all morning photographing different views and different subjects. Sometime after lunch I went back to the Bodie car and photographed it again from this viewpoint.Lighting
Being early afternoon without any clouds the lighting was pretty harsh but for me it worked for this car.Equipment
I photographed with a Canon 5D Mark III and a 24 to 105 mm lens set at 24mm. I was on my back so I could get the camera and lens as close to the ground as I could and still see what I was shooting.Inspiration
This car is photographed a lot, I just thought that by laying on the ground I could get a different perspective.Editing
Simply changed to monochrome.In my camera bag
I usually photograph with the Canon 7D but this day I was using my 5D.Feedback
Take a lot of images and from many different angles, you just might find something you like better that what you normally get.
