What a day this was... It started as a casual walk to a light house in the Bay of Islands. We drove from Auckland, which is 6 hours away. It was raining the whole time and our moods were as grey as the sky. It rained throughout our visit to the lighthouse and as we were about to leave we decided to do a quick hike as we were going to be sitting in the car for another 6 hours. Just as we got to this big cliff the sky cleared up and my brother went to check out the view. I yelled at him to stay, ran 20 min back up the trail and managed to get this awesome photograph showing the scale of the cliffs that were hidden not moments before.
