A family of Mallard ducks (probably the female and nearly grown ducklings) swim in a pond near my home in Sarasota, Florida These ducks are most likely feral Mallards as they do not migrate to-from Florida. Mallards are hybridizing with the native Florida Mottled duck threatening the later species.
