Behind The Lens

Location

The photograph was clicked at Chennai's Marina beach.

Time

The sun had just started rising and the sky was in its blue hour. Perfect time to capture colors of nature.

Lighting

I needed the depth, at the same time some drama. Therefore I had my aperture small and shutter slow. This gave an overall sharp image with some motion in the waters.

Equipment

A tripod is must in these situations. This was captured from a canon 70D

Inspiration

I wanted to capture sunrise from marina beach and therefore decided to capture this image.

Editing

This image is not edited a lot. Just slight increase in saturation

In my camera bag

A sony A7r4 with tamron 17mm-28mm 2.8 lense and 28mm-75mm 2.8 lense, and a tripod.

Feedback

To capture colours in sky. More than equipment timing is important. Even with best equipment, if you miss the time you miss the shot.
