This picture was taken during the first week of the "40 day rain" that poured on Kaua'i in 2006. Already, the waterfalls can be seen coming down the Pali (cliff) on the right. The clouds shifted and changed constantly. No more than minutes after the photos were taken, you could not see more than 100 feet down the cliff side. Everything else was gray.
