Best friend beautiful photo

This is a baby monkey in a group of Howler Monkeys that would visit the place I stayed at in Costa Rica. This monkey was within 20 feet of my porch.

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken during a hiking trip at Vedawu. I came across this body of water with the various trees and was immediately taken back by the view. It was such a calm and serene area.

Time

It was taken mid day when the sun ayed perfectly with the trees and water.

Lighting

I use manual setting quite without a flash, so the lighting needs to be pretty good. Make sure to keep an eye on your exposure meter.

Equipment

Canon Rebel SL1, manual settings.

Inspiration

I loved the shadows, light, and reflections. It was also calm and a bit eery. One of my favorite shots.

Editing

I did a little post processing with the sharpness.

In my camera bag

Camera, two lenses, battery charger, photo cards.
