Location
The image was taken in a very nice Restaurant in Cologne, Germany. It has a vintage touch and lots of lovely decorated antique items.Time
It was in the morning when only a few customers were present.Lighting
Model was positioned in a specific way to harness natural light coming from the left of the model. Other than the ambient light from the restaurant’s electronic lights no additional lighting was used. The white tablecloth was added on purpose to light up the shadows in the model’s face.Equipment
I used the Fujifilm GFX-50 middleformat camera.Inspiration
Inspiration came from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the lovely Audrey Hepburn. Take a look at the model, she perfectly incarcerated her.Editing
Other than trimming, color correction, spot removal and sharpening no other post-processing was doneIn my camera bag
Fujifilm GFX 50 and X-H1 with various lenses. If I do need to light I use my Profoto A1s and B2s. As reflectors I use various Sunbounce products.Feedback
First look for the light and position your model accordingly. Use side lighting to increase depth and contrast. Pay attention to harsh shadows.
