This doorway leads to the rooftop of 'The Duomo' in Florence, Italy. I love to use framing in my shots. In this one I tried to balance the foreground of the cathedral with its ancient appearance with the gritty brick walls and stone steps leading up in a pleasant curve while allowing the window light to filter through. It works in my color shot & in B&W. A good shot is a good shot. Nice when it happens.
