Finally got a decent wildlife lens, the Canon 400mm F5.6. Headed to a nearby wildlife preserve and found so many deer I couldn't believe my luck. This is just one of many great shots I got that day. I no longer have this lens though, since the lack of IS makes it too difficult to maintain good exposure in poor lighting. I now have the 100-400mm IS ii, which is pricey but worth it for IS alone.
