Behind The Lens

Location

The north of Kruger Park South Africa.

Time

About 5.30 pm. , 10th September 2015

Lighting

It was a clear night with out much cloud cover.

Equipment

I shot this with a Nikon D7100 and a Nikon F4 300mm lens on a monopod.

Inspiration

Always like a sunset and can't resist a silhouette when i see one.

Editing

I'm not into doing loads of post process but i used lightroom. This shot was not cropped at all.Basic adjustments of contrast,Highlights, saturation ,shadows and sharpening. No objects removed or added to the image.

In my camera bag

I normally have my Nikon F4 300 mm, F5.6 200-500 mm(my go to lens) and a Nikon 3.5-5.6 18-200 mm ( for landscapes). A D750 and a D7100 body.

Feedback

Look for a shot before sunset and then choose your angle and experiment.
