Hardly anything beats seeing the northern lights in person. Once you do it is so easy to understand that humans have tried to explain this physical reaction with all different sorts of fables and religious explanations ever since. I like the thought of the lights being the souls of the dead who left us. Here it is the aurora borealis over the beach of Uttakleiv, Lofoten. A magic night with very strong aurora display.
