These images were taken during the "Kuthira Eduppu" festival at Thrikkadavoor Mahadeva Temple, Kollam, Kerala. These large wooden structures called "Kuthira" are supported by a horde of men. Each "Kuthira" is constructed and carried by the men of 6 different villages around the temple, the beauty and details of the structure is a matter of pride for the entire village.
