This is a type of orchid, very small in size, native to North Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia. The flower is about the size of an almond nut. Flowers late autumn to early spring and in ambundance. White in colour but often there are few pink or purple amongst the sea of white like this one. I photographed this two days ago in a rainy day with an umbrella in one hand and the camera in the other. I use a Canon 700D and if you have one you know how heavy it is to operate it one handed for more than an hour. My hand and finger joints were aching at the end of the session but I'm happy I went out in that rainy day.
