On a beautiful day in June, my husband and went for an ATV ride on the Delta Junction Bison Range, located near the Alaska Highway close to our house in Delta Junction, Alaska. In May, the lovely purple of pasqueflower blooms dotted the fields. On this visit the colorful blooms were gone and a puffball of seeds remained.
