Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a Hotel dating back to the late 1800’s. It was used in the railroad to house travelers.

Time

This photo was taken in the early morning after a night of investigating paranormal activity that has been known to manafest in the hotel.

Lighting

The lighting for this photo was natural sunlight filtered through the original glass windows of the hotel built in the late 1800’s

Equipment

This photo was taken with a Canon T6-I with the basic 18-35 mm lense.

Inspiration

I love to be inspired by the venue I am in. Haunted locations foster my curiosity for the history and stories attached to the building and artifacts.

Editing

Post processing was fairly simple. I increased the contrast and desaturated the colors to bring out the vintage look of the artifacts.

In my camera bag

I always have my Canon Rebel T6-i, 4 lenses of different lengths and apertures as I shoot a lot of night photos. I also have lense filters for long exposures and a tripod. You never know what you’ll need!
