Behind The Lens

Location

North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher in Carolina Beach

Time

It was in the afternoon the day after thanksgiving.

Lighting

Growing up in wilmington, NC around christmas time there is an event called "Festival of Trees" where people decorate all sorts of christmas trees. This year the event was taking place at the aquarium. You can see some of the trees in the reflection above my sons open arms.

Equipment

Nikon D3400 handheld

Inspiration

I noticed a few promotional pictures similar to this one while driving around Wilmington. I thought they looked cool so I attempted to re-create.

Editing

Just a little lightroom clarity changes is all I did.

In my camera bag

Nikon D3400, 50 MM lens.
