The lake region is considered to be the coldest in Kazakhstan (in winter the temperature drops to -55 degrees), but completely the ice is released usually at the beginning of June. On the lake we arrived the day after the snow-rain front had left, all the small rivers and streams along the road were very stormy and the lake was just beginning to move away from the ice in the places where it flows...
