It's not often the west coast of Scotland can boast "mirror-surface-calm-seas". Taken at the Tarbert harbour during early spring last year; the incredibly clam weather presented a rare moment to capture how just peaceful the Mull of Kintyre can be. Exposed to the Atlantic weather front, it is an area known mostly for the wind and rain.
Being a coastal fishing village, the harbour is always full of fishing vessels and boats of various sizes; the harbour is the hub of life to the locals.
I thought the multiple reflections of the boats moored side-by-side, helps convey a sense of how busy and active the harbour can be during the fishing season, juxtaposed by the serenity of the water captured by the reflections.
