one of my first trials at capturing a long exposure shot at night.
The night is obviously the easiest place to start with long exposures as I did need additional gear; like ND filters etc. Focus can be a little tricky in the dark, particularly if your using a lower end camera that is less able to auto-focus in dark situations.
If I remember correctly; I think my little D40 done well here to focus.
