Moonlight night on the border of South and East Kazakhstan regions, solonchaks of Lake Alakol, where we stopped for the night.
The owner of the house was quite hospitable: in the evening we treated him to tea, and he us in the morning - a couple of fresh pike-perches :)
Moving from one area to another takes almost two days (few people thought about how big Kazakhstan is: it occupies the 9th (!) Place in the world in terms of area, of which more than half are in deserts - semi-deserts and infernal roads :)
If it had not been for the snow that had passed the day before - the solonchak would have been generally white because of the bright moon, and so the soil was slightly moist and retained its structure.
P.S. Well, if you think that the stars are in the sky - you are mistaken: they are the souls of the Alakol killing of mosquitoes, who in the evening imposed their company on us :)
