Location
High Falls in Chateaugay NY. The falls sits down in a gorge, 350 feet down and a ton of stairs (thank goodness they built stairs though!) to get to and from it. Going down wasn't so bad but coming back up was exhausting but well worth it!Time
late afternoonLighting
It was extremely cloudyEquipment
Nikon d3300 and my 18-55mm kit lens, I used the rocks there as a tripodInspiration
I love water falls and experimenting with shutter speed but around here there isn't many water falls. So finding this one was amazing!Editing
some brightness adjusting in Photoshop the water was so bright so had to tone it down someIn my camera bag
Nikon D3300, various lenses and filtersFeedback
patience and practice! we were there over an hour due to kids swimming and running all over though I could of probably used Photoshop to remove them I didn't want to take the risk of ruining the picture (my Photoshop skills aren't the best!) Remote shutter is also amazing!
