Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in nature, It was sunny day, I with my model found place where was shadow, under the tree. when I was capturing this photo I could not imagine that photo will be so nice.

Time

Day was sunny and hot enough. I waked up and In my head borned idea, after that I called my friend with a proposal to take photos, she took with her many clothes for different situations. the results of the photo shoot were very pleasant, and I think this photo was the best from this series.

Lighting

I like to shoot on natural light, so for natural light day was perfectly good. When my friend stood in front of the camera and looked into the objective on her face was very magical light, and it was absolutly amazing.

Equipment

My equipment was: Camera - Canon EOS 600D. Old soviet Lens - Helios 44-2 F/2.

Inspiration

Inspiration comes to me from very different things and objects, I think I'm recognizing It now that my inspiration was famous portrait of Mona Lisa.

Editing

Yes there was post processing. Photo was very nice in original version too, but I wanted more dark tones in photo, so I added more shadows and lighted face area.

In my camera bag

In my bag very long time always was only Canon 600D, 18-55 standart lens and Old soviet lens, Helios 44-2(It's a great lens for art portraits). Now I added canon flashlight 430ex ii, Canon 10-18 lens and Canon 50mm F1.8 lens.
