Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at home. Foxy is our adopted pooch, and she is "laser-focused" when something catches her attention, particularly treats. I had a camera in hand, and was hoping to catch her in this state of mind, and was lucky enough to do so.

Time

Late afternoon was the time of day. Our home has a lot of windows, mainly facing south.

Lighting

Natural lighting, indirect through south facing windows.

Equipment

My favorite camera, by far, is my Nikon D750, which is shat I used here. It was handheld, with no other accessories used.

Inspiration

Foxy's just a great subject, with a lot of personality!

Editing

Some adjustment to levels, and a touch of dodging and burning, as well as conversion to black and white.

In my camera bag

D-750, midrange zoom, and UV and polarizing filters are usually with me, and that's about it.

Feedback

Use your camera! Don't be afraid to use the shutter button! Digital photography is inexpensive, once you have the gear!
