Location
This photo was taken in Porto (Portugal). It was the firt time I traveled above Lisbon and I enjoyed and loved this city more even the capital one.Time
I delighted the sunset in the own bridge. It was fantastic! Later I would come back with my tripod to try a night photo of the bridge Don Luis I and the Ribeira in the backLighting
Yes! Lighting must be the most important thing in a picture. It must be the protagonist and show all the relevant objects and subjects, but without flash the observer and burn the scene: everything have to had a perfect equilibrium.Equipment
Nikon D3300 and a gorillapod tripod (best buy ever)Inspiration
The bridge was the simbol of the city, and I love night photography.Editing
I usually do a post-processing with Lightroom (only the basics: shadows, exposure and black&white cusom), but for this one I didn´t because was my fist trip with the camera and I took all the photos in JPEG, not in RAW.In my camera bag
Camera, polarized filter, gorillapod tripod and a lintern (to be able to see in the dark, I did not try it yet in night photography).Feedback
Try to get with your camera what your mind is seeing at the moment. I once read: "your first 1.000 pictures are your worst work". That's true, when time goes by you can appreciate how your pictures are improving and getting more like you spected to show better than how dark and dirty are the atmosphere.
