Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a rural road in Portlaoise, Co. Laois in the Republic of Ireland.

Time

The photo was taken after 6pm , in our way back from a long day photo session, and we were guided by the other model that was with us to that place, we enjoy a bit of relax.

Lighting

This is just natural light, under the trees on a Afternoon of Irish summer.

Equipment

Nikon D7200, Lens Nikon 35mm f/1.8, hand held camera, no additional equipment.

Inspiration

I have the idea of nature, not direct nudity, but implicit one , and as we where out, the day was good, not that cold, and the model decide to wear the see-thru dress and start doing different poses , and this is one that we like the most.

Editing

Yes, some cropping from the original one, White Balance correction, an exposure adjustment.

In my camera bag

In my day to day bag, is my D7200 camera, my 18-105mm lense and the 35mm lense. sometimes I also carry the 50mm but I don't use it that much. Always spare battery and spare memory cards sometimes a Circular Polarized filter or a graduable ND filter.

Feedback

You need a place with out direct sunlight, to avoid the hard shadows, try to find a place where the model will do some contrast with the background to avoid blending she on it, let the model to express herself, don't push a pose, models normally knows how to look good ;)
