Location
This photo was taken in siem reap, cambodia, in a forested area on the way to angkor watTime
I remember it was in the morning, early as I hadn't had breakfast yet, I ended up giving breakfast to a group of monkeys who were shy in the middle of the trees looking at me.Lighting
For me it was a spectacular experience, I had already been with monkeys in Sichuan, China, but they were bigger and very aggressive, I had to run away from them. These in Cambodia were exactly the opposite, super friends and affectionate, this one in the photo monkey in the photo was very curious with the camera, it looked like he really wanted a photo.Equipment
This photo was taken with Sony A99 and Tamron 24-70Inspiration
Honestly the inspiration was the macado and how funny and cute he was with me, I wanted to record that moment forever not only in my head but in my camera.Editing
In post production I tried to convey the warmth of the moment, the monkey had beautiful brown eyes and the whole moment for me stayed in my head in shades of brown, I tried to convey what I had in mind when editing. In my camera bag
I always carry my Sony A99 with the tamron 24-70, the sony A6000 with a 50mm and a tripod.Feedback
Always trying to transmit to the image what our mind sees and feels at the moment, in this case it was really letting me take the moment.
