Taken with nikon d500, with the nikon 200-500f5.6. shutter speed 1000sec at 5.6 iso650. I must have taken hundreds of images to get this shot. These birds are so hard to capture. Just a flash of blue then its gone as you may no. Iam very lucky to have a nesting pair of kingfishers near to where i live.
