Location
I took this photo in my living room. My five-year-old son helped me and it is his hand in the photo. I was practicing with shutter speed and photographing liquids.Time
This was around 8 PM in the evening. I had a bunch of spot lights set up.Lighting
I was doing a bunch of cocktails practicing with I I I I I used different drink glasses, liquid colors, and fruits. My five-year-old son wanted to help me by dropping cherries into the glass and I captured this amazing image.Equipment
Nikon D750 camera with Tamron Lens (28-300mm), external flash and studio spot lights.Inspiration
I had previously taken liquid photos a few years ago and had a beautiful canvas in my living room of my water droplet photo. I wanted to enhance my liquid photography skills by practicing. After watching me, my son wanted to help, so it became our project and a beautifully captured memory.Editing
Yes I used Photoshop to help enhance some of the colors and remove some of the lint that was in the backdrop. In my camera bag
My camera and 28mm-300mm Lens. I also have a 50mm prime lens for portraits.Feedback
Use a remote control for your flash and definitely have an assistant. ???? Make sure to use a wide variety of fruits. I was able to get some gorgeous photos with orange peels and slices of lemons and limes and cherries
